The Security & Safety Entrepreneur Awards are back, with nominations now open through to 2 February 2027. The awards recognise and celebrate the individuals and organisations whose entrepreneurial spirit, innovation and achievements are making a real difference across the security and safety sector.
The SSEAs celebrate entrepreneurs at every stage of their journey — from ambitious start-ups and emerging talent to established businesses — working across any area of security and safety and in any sector, provided their product or service is available in the UK.

Celebrating at The Security Event
The 2027 Security & Safety Entrepreneur Awards will once again be co-located with The Security Event at the NEC, Birmingham, on 27 April 2027, bringing together leading entrepreneurs, innovators and professionals from across the security and safety industry for an evening of recognition and celebration.
The SSEAs were established with the support of founding supporters The British Security Industry Association, The Banks Foundation and Skills for Security, whose backing has helped create a platform dedicated to recognising and celebrating entrepreneurial achievement across the sector.
